Note
wyd if a double decker bus crashes into us and i die by your side? do you think it would it be a heavenly way to die? or would a ten ton truck that kills both of us be better? me, personally? if that happens? i think the privilege would be mine
us.

I was in some stranger's apartment the other night, and I was talking to this gay Turkish lawyer about Johann Sebastian Bach while we were waiting for the bathroom, and when it was his turn to go he reassured me "I'm just gonna be SUPER quick" as he stepped into the bathroom, and then he leaned out again and did the "I'm about to take cocaine" gesture at me as if to explain why he was going to be so quick, and I was just like. Sigh. What a typical Berlin evening. I don't care WHAT you're doing in there, dude, I just wanna pee at some point.

POV: You're scrolling through tumblr in 2014 when everyone was obsessed with British pop culture
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I have memories of people (especially North Americans) being obsessed with British culture (by British culture I mean English pop culture - nobody cared about the rest of the UK)
I remember seeing pictures of English celebrities and YouTubers, people wanting to move to London, TV shows, BBC, liking the accents, etc.
And of course the Keep Calm and Carry On war posters
There's nothing wrong with liking British culture, of course (I myself like to learn about it and consume the media), but I think it's funny how much people idealized the UK ten years ago and now people are making fun of it all
I feel like people will always idealize a country or culture that isn't their own, like how now people are idealizing Korean pop culture (not hating on Korean culture at all, just an observation)
Anyway, I had this in my head and wanted to share 😃

I am once again thinking about
Jonathan: We can't call Hawkins without alerting the military, putting El in danger. Fine, then we'll just go to them.
AND
Nancy: Whatever's happening in Lenora is connected to all of this I'm sure of it. But Vecna can't hurt them. Not if he's dead.

If you were to travel back in time 89 years, this is what you would see today at Fifth Avenue & 42nd Street. April 20, 1935.
